For us at Nazcaa, the What’s On Dubai Awards 2026 was one of those evenings.
It is our great pleasure to be awarded Favourite Fine Dining Latin American Restaurant at the What’s On Dubai Awards 2026. It was indeed an honor for us as a team to be awarded amidst such a large number of distinguished personalities from the Dubai hospitality and entertainment world.
That night witnessed the gathering of the very individuals who make the dining, leisure, and entertainment culture of Dubai so lively. There was no lack of chefs, restaurant owners, hospitality professionals and creative individuals in that room. And when the Nazcaa name was announced, it became a memory we will carry with us.
The What’s On Dubai Awards hold a special place in the city’s hospitality calendar. The awards honor the restaurants, cuisine concepts, and entertainment in Dubai through a voting process by the public. It is an honor indeed when recognized by the people visiting and experiencing your establishment in the city.
For Nazcaa, this award represents something very close to our hearts.
Our story was always one of Beyond Nikkei, our way of representing the intersection between the precision of Japan and the vibrancy of Peru. It is a cuisine born out of migration and cultural exchange. We bring the tradition into the modern-day city of Dubai at Nazcaa in the form of flavor and craftsmanship.
Every plate is part of that story.
From careful raw preparations and vibrant ceviches to makimono, robata and warm stone bowls, our menu moves between textures, aromas and techniques. The freshness of Peruvian ingredients meets the discipline of Japanese culinary craft. Our bar continues that journey through sake, pisco and carefully crafted cocktails.
Then there is the setting.
Nazcaa sits above Downtown Dubai, where the Burj Khalifa becomes part of the evening. As the light changes across the skyline, the terrace takes on a different character. Dinner can begin with the city glowing beneath you and unfold into a long evening of conversation, cocktails, music and beautifully paced courses.
That sense of occasion is something we have always wanted Nazcaa to create.
The award evening itself gave us a beautiful reminder of why experiences matter so much. Looking through the photographs, we see more than a trophy. We see our team standing together. We see the stage, the lights, the energy in the room and the people who shared that moment with us.
We see a team that puts care into every detail, from the kitchen to the bar, from the dining room to the terrace.
We also see the people who make Nazcaa what it is.
Our chefs, whose creativity brings our Beyond Nikkei philosophy to life.
Our hospitality team, who make every guest feel looked after.
Our bar team, who bring another layer of character to the evening.
And every person behind the scenes whose work may happen quietly, yet shapes the experience our guests remember.
This recognition belongs to all of them.
It also belongs to everyone who has sat at our tables, raised a glass with us, celebrated a milestone, brought friends for dinner, discovered Nikkei cuisine for the first time or simply spent an evening watching Dubai come alive from the terrace.
Your curiosity has allowed us to keep exploring. Your support has allowed us to keep creating.
